Rising Stars Classes

Rising stars classes are for skaters beginner 4 through the pre-preliminary levels. It’s intended to bridge the gap between learn to skate classes and private lessons within the club. Skaters will participate in a 30 minute on ice group class, where they will work on skating skills and get introduced to spins and jumps, and then do a 30 minute off-ice class working on building coordination, community, and conditioning. Classes are $25 a class, and you will be billed monthly for the classes you plan on attending.

Shooting Star Classes

Shooting star classes are skaters who have passed their pre-preliminary skating skills test through the Pre-Juvenile levels and enrolled in private lessons. Skaters will work on their mastery of the basic turns, as well as get introduced to learning the difficult turns in figure skating. Additionally, skaters will have fun learning new transitions and begin learning spin variations. This class is $15 a class and will return with a new time in the fall.

Advanced Skating Skill Classes

Skaters in this class work on the execution of the difficult turns in combination, and to better their edge quality and power on the ice. Skaters must have passed their pre-bronze skating skills test and know all 6 difficult turns to participate. This class runs 6-6:30am on Mondays and Wednesdays with Megan Salamon. To participate please contact her directly at MeganSalamon7@gmail.com. Each class is $15 and money for the class will be paid directly to her.

Off-ice Classes

Off-ice work is important for development and we offer 2 intermediate/advanced classes a week. Skaters will work on improving their jump technique, building their stamina, and strengthening their bodies to help reduce risk of injury. Classes are on Monday and Thursdays, and are run directly through Megan. $5 a class, drop-in only, and check the calendar weekly to ensure you have the correct times!

Showcase Team

Skaters of all ages and levels are encouraged to register for our new team beginning in June. This will be a theatrical production team.

Practices will be 5:20-6pm on Mondays in the summer, and practice 30-60 minutes weekly starting in the fall. The team will attend two local competitions in the spring of 2027. This team will be great for making friends within the club, learning to work as a team, and highlighting the various strengths and personalities within the club.
